Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paata Shalikashvili started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nukri Pilievi kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Taka Londaridze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Giorgi Mkheidze made a huge save. Paata Shalikashvili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Egos Lekov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Paata Shalikashvili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. VALENSIE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paata Shalikashvili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, F.C. VALENSIE's Giorgi Mkheidze got control of the ball when Taka Londaridze tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Braintree's zone, Samir Bitsadze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egos Lekov came out of the goal and Samir Bitsadze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of F.C. VALENSIE booed when Braintree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merab Magalov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Braintree's goalkeeper Egos Lekov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Braintree's Mikhail Khatiashvili got a free kick in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Merab Magalov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Braintree's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. VALENSIE the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Braintree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merab Magalov to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Soso Jachvadze sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egos Lekov skillfully saved the ball. If Bichiko Labadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, F.C. VALENSIE's Bichiko Labadze got a free kick in the 37th minute. Taka Londaridze struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Giorgi Mkheidze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braintree. In the 43rd minute, Gocha Kobiashvili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taka Londaridze who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Giorgi Mkheidze when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Giorgi Mkheidze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarji Shalikashvili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taka Londaridze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giorgi Mkheidze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarji Shalikashvili in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giorgi Mkheidze saved F.C. VALENSIE from getting behind. F.C. VALENSIE's Giorgi Mkheidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarji Shalikashvili in the 73rd minute of play. Tariel Mkheidze charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tariel Mkheidze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Jarji Shalikashvili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. VALENSIE's zone, Taka Londaridze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgi Mkheidze came out of the goal and Taka Londaridze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarji Shalikashvili might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giorgi Mkheidze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarji Shalikashvili ran back to his position shaking his head. In a very dangerous position, a player in F.C. VALENSIE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Braintree. Djvebe Levidze stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Giorgi Mkheidze. 1-0. If Samir Bitsadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, F.C. VALENSIE's goal looked a bit too open when Jarji Shalikashvili came free, but Giorgi Mkheidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taka Londaridze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgi Mkheidze having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taka Londaridze in the 91st minute of play forced F.C. VALENSIE's goalkeeper Giorgi Mkheidze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taka Londaridze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgi Mkheidze having to interfere. F.C. VALENSIE's Giorgi Mkheidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarji Shalikashvili in the 95th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taka Londaridze in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giorgi Mkheidze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jarji Shalikashvili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgi Mkheidze having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Braintree had won after a very even match.
