Spectators: 9194 (Terracing: 6897, Seating: 2114, VIP seats: 183) Dinamo Baghdati's Uta Kamadadze started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. F.C. VALENSIE's Giorgi Mkheidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeri Aragvsky in the 4th minute of play. Kakhi Goraniskov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgi Mkheidze having to interfere. Kakhi Andrzheevskiy came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. VALENSIE's Tariel Mkheidze. But to his dismay, Tariel Mkheidze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Dinamo Baghdati booed when F.C. VALENSIE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiriev Burduli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kakhi Andrzheevskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paata Shalikashvili in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Baghdati's Kakhi Goraniskov got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Paata Shalikashvili left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. VALENSIE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Paata Shalikashvili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kakhi Andrzheevskiy. Dinamo Baghdati's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paata Shalikashvili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Valeri Aragvsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgi Mkheidze having to interfere. Archil Kobiashvili kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes, F.C. VALENSIE's Soso Jachvadze shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kakhi Andrzheevskiy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. VALENSIE reached it. In the 35th minute, Samir Bitsadze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. VALENSIE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paata Shalikashvili to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Dinamo Baghdati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikhail Gabelia to maneuver through the defense. When Soso Jachvadze came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the F.C. VALENSIE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Soso Jachvadze couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute Paata Shalikashvili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kakhi Andrzheevskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes of play, Dinamo Baghdati's Uta Kamadadze made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgi Mkheidze was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, F.C. VALENSIE's Kakhi Sordia got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uta Kamadadze in the 63rd minute of play forced F.C. VALENSIE's goalkeeper Giorgi Mkheidze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bichiko Labadze charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bichiko Labadze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of F.C. VALENSIE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dinamo Baghdati:s goal. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Dinamo Baghdati. Uta Kamadadze stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Giorgi Mkheidze. 2-4. With a little luck, Dinamo Baghdati's Kakhi Andrzheevskiy got control of the ball when Samir Bitsadze tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Dinamo Baghdati defense, Paata Shalikashvili kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kakhi Andrzheevskiy. The Dinamo Baghdati fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kakhi Andrzheevskiy should have stopped the shot. Dinamo Baghdati's Kakhi Andrzheevskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Dinamo Baghdati from getting a goal against them. Kakhi Goraniskov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giorgi Mkheidze having to make a save. Dinamo Baghdati's Kakhi Goraniskov got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 played minutes F.C. VALENSIE got a freekick which was hit by Tariel Mkheidze. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. VALENSIE's zone, Merdan Arveladze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgi Mkheidze came out of the goal and Merdan Arveladze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samir Bitsadze got free with Kakhi Andrzheevskiy in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. F.C. VALENSIE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
