Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jarji Shalikashvili started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Braintree's Mikhail Khatiashvili in the 8th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Valiko Andrzheevskiy was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for East Cowes through an amazing save. In the 12th minute, Jarji Shalikashvili ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valiko Andrzheevskiy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to East Cowes getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Beka Londaridze hit a great ball. Jarji Shalikashvili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valiko Andrzheevskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarji Shalikashvili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When East Cowes's Sachino Londaridze in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Braintree's goalie prevented a goal. The East Cowes fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when East Cowes's Sachino Londaridze looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. East Cowes's Valiko Andrzheevskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarji Shalikashvili in the 40th minute of play. Sachino Londaridze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egos Lekov having to interfere. Jarji Shalikashvili struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Valiko Andrzheevskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braintree. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sachino Londaridze to make the kick off. If Andrey Andrzheevskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Braintree's goalkeeper Egos Lekov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sachino Londaridze who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Egos Lekov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vano Kikalishvili's late challenge caught a East Cowes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vano Kikalishvili helped the player get up and apologised. Vano Kikalishvili kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Valiko Andrzheevskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taka Londaridze in the 60th minute of the match. Taka Londaridze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valiko Andrzheevskiy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, Braintree's Taka Londaridze made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valiko Andrzheevskiy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egos Sagharadze's late challenge caught a East Cowes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egos Sagharadze helped the player get up and apologised. Egos Sagharadze hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Andrey Andrzheevskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egos Lekov having to interfere. Egos Lekov came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by East Cowes's Sachino Londaridze. But to his dismay, Sachino Londaridze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 87th minute, Sachino Londaridze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Braintree's goalkeeper Egos Lekov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sachino Londaridze. East Cowes played a much better game than Braintree and deserved their victory. The Braintree players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
