Emiriev Andrzheevskiys short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Gia Milakiev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Semen Magalov in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukhum Jandieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikolaj Gvaramadze to make the kick off. Emiriev Andrzheevskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gia Milakiev having to interfere. When Valeri Gvaramadze fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thamesmead's protests and gave Valeri Gvaramadze a yellow card for diving instead. 57 minutes into the game, one of Thamesmead:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mindia Anghelache in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Nikolaj Gvaramadze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 77 minutes, Semen Magalov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thamesmead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Semen Magalov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mindia Anghelache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Filipp Sulaberidze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Mindia Anghelache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thamesmead's supporters rose to their feet, but Mindia Anghelache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukhum Jandieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Thamesmead booed when FC GAGRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khristesia Sordia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98thth minute of the game Emiriev Andrzheevskiy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thamesmead's Gia Milakiev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Thamesmead eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
