Emiriev Burduli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Sese Goloviznin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sese Goloviznin made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Emiriev Burduli sent off a good shot on target. Emiriev Burdulis short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Sese Goloviznin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 17 minutes into the match, Kutaisi FC's Merdan Pulishvili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anatoly Kikalishvili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emiriev Burduli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sese Goloviznin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kutaisi FC's Kvarkvare Gvaramadze got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the Kutaisi FC defense, Emiriev Burduli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sese Goloviznin. The Kutaisi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sese Goloviznin should have stopped the shot. Merdan Pulishvili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of RUSTAVI f.c. booed when Kutaisi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiriev Andrzheevskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kutaisi FC's Kvarkvare Gvaramadze got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee ignored Kutaisi FC's protests and gave Kvarkvare Gvaramadze a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Kutaisi FC got a freekick which was hit by Kvarkvare Gvaramadze. Valeri Goloviznin hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Merdan Pulishvili came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Kutaisi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Merdan Pulishvili couldn't finish the play. Emiriev Burduli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sese Goloviznin having to interfere. Emiriev Andrzheevskiy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anatoly Kikalishvili having to make a save. Emiriev Burduli might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sese Goloviznin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiriev Burduli ran back to his position shaking his head. Anatoly Kikalishvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kvarkvare Gvaramadze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kutaisi FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RUSTAVI f.c..
