He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC GAGRA reached it. FC GAGRA's Lukhum Jandieri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save FC GAGRA from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Rioni Kutaisi AFC were furious when Pavel Cheishvili was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rioni Kutaisi AFC! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC GAGRA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
