The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uta Kamadadze during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Dinamo Baghdati got a freekick which was hit by Uta Kamadadze. Andrey Andrzheevskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valeri Aragvsky kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Kakhi Goraniskov came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Dinamo Baghdati fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kakhi Goraniskov couldn't finish the play. If Uta Kamadadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Dinamo Baghdati getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mikhail Gabelia hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Dinamo Baghdati's goal looked a bit too open when Andrey Andrzheevskiy came free, but Kakhi Andrzheevskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kakhi Andrzheevskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sachino Londaridze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrey Andrzheevskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrey Andrzheevskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Kakhi Andrzheevskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Dinamo Baghdati's goal looked a bit too open when Amiran Pilievi came free, but Kakhi Andrzheevskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sachino Londaridze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo Baghdati's zone, Andrey Andrzheevskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kakhi Andrzheevskiy came out of the goal and Andrey Andrzheevskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kakhi Andrzheevskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Andrzheevskiy in the 34th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Uta Kamadadze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valiko Andrzheevskiy. East Cowes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uta Kamadadze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo Baghdati's zone, Andrey Andrzheevskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kakhi Andrzheevskiy came out of the goal and Andrey Andrzheevskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sachino Londaridze made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Dinamo Baghdati's goal looked a bit too open when Sachino Londaridze came free, but Kakhi Andrzheevskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amiran Pilievi's late challenge caught a Dinamo Baghdati's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amiran Pilievi helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes East Cowes got a freekick which was hit by Bondo Mamporia. With a little luck, Dinamo Baghdati's Kakhi Andrzheevskiy got control of the ball when Andrey Andrzheevskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to East Cowes getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Egos Abesadze hit a great ball. Dinamo Baghdati's Uta Kamadadze couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for East Cowes. Valeri Aragvsky struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Valiko Andrzheevskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinamo Baghdati. Merdan Arveladze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Valiko Andrzheevskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes East Cowes got a freekick which was hit by Amiran Pilievi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeri Aragvsky in the 76th minute of play forced East Cowes's goalkeeper Valiko Andrzheevskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Valeri Aragvsky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amiran Pilievi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kakhi Andrzheevskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amiran Pilievi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Dinamo Baghdati:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of East Cowes:s goal. In the 87th minute of the game, East Cowes got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 91st minute, Andrey Andrzheevskiy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kakhi Andrzheevskiy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4.
