Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sachino Babadishev kicked off to start the match. Akim Bitsadze was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Arsen Jandieri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arsen Jandieri really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Medani's goalkeeper Akim Bitsadze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gia Gogava. Sachino Babadishev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Naskhida Sulaberidze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Amiran Andrzheevskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rioni Kutaisi AFC and the Medani players grew even worse after the yellow card. 22 minutes into the match, Medani's goalkeeper Akim Bitsadze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amiran Andrzheevskiy. Naskhida Sulaberidze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merdan Kobiashvili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Merdan Kobiashvili ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naskhida Sulaberidze was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Valeri Pawletko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Merdan Kobiashvili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Rioni Kutaisi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sachino Babadishev came free, but Naskhida Sulaberidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sachino Babadishev in the 39th minute of play forced Rioni Kutaisi AFC's goalkeeper Naskhida Sulaberidze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sachino Babadishev struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Naskhida Sulaberidze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medani. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Naskhida Sulaberidze didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. Merdan Kobiashvili came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Naskhida Sulaberidze could save by the left post. Akim Bitsadze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amiran Andrzheevskiy in the 58th minute of the match. Rioni Kutaisi AFC's Naskhida Sulaberidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sachino Babadishev in the 60th minute of play. Medani's Akim Bitsadze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsen Jandieri in the 62nd minute of play. The corner led Medani's Sachino Babadishev to fire away a dangerous shot which Naskhida Sulaberidze despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Medani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeri Pawletko to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Medani booed when Rioni Kutaisi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khristesia Kikalishvili didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Khristesia Kikalishvili notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Medani's Akim Bitsadze. Akim Bitsadze was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Merdan Kobiashvili got free with Naskhida Sulaberidze in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Rioni Kutaisi AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Medani were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
