Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rähim Ağayev kicked off to start the match. Abbas Älizadä came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cälilabad FK's Cahid Cumayev. But to his dismay, Cahid Cumayev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sättar Salmanov scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Coşğun Imamverdiyev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Cälilabad FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rähim Ağayev came free, but Coşğun Imamverdiyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cahid Cumayev in the 20th minute of play forced Qarabag FK's goalkeeper Abbas Älizadä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cahid Cumayev's late challenge caught a Qarabag FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cahid Cumayev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Cahid Cumayev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abbas Älizadä showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehrac Qädimov in the 37th minute of the match. Veysäl Känanov kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes, Cälilabad FK's Elman Ähäcanov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abbas Älizadä came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cälilabad FK reached it. A collision led to Qarabag FK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rüstäm Abdulov hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehrac Qädimov in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abbas Älizadä prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abbas Älizadä came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Cälilabad FK's Mehrac Qädimov. But to his dismay, Mehrac Qädimov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The Qarabag FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cälilabad FK were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cahid Cumayev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cälilabad FK booed when Qarabag FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akif Äfändiyev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abbas Älizadä made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cahid Cumayev in the 54th minute of play. Qarabag FK's Abbas Älizadä proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Qarabag FK from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the game, one of Cälilabad FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Qarabag FK a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Qılman Cäbrayilov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cälilabad FK's Coşğun Imamverdiyev. 2-3. 68 minutes into the match, Cälilabad FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sättar Salmanov came free, but Coşğun Imamverdiyev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Älämdar Yunisov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sättar Salmanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sättar Salmanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yaşar Imanov kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Eldäniz Qädirov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Abbas Älizadä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Yaşar Imanov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abbas Älizadä. Yaşar Imanov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. The Qarabag FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cälilabad FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Cälilabad FK.
