Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xälil Mälikov took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dämir Xudadverdiyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Väkil Elxanov in the 4th minute of the match. Araz-Şərur's Väkil Elxanov got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Kämaläddin Vermäliyev fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mingəçevir AŞ's protests and gave Kämaläddin Vermäliyev a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mingəçevir AŞ getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Kämaläddin Vermäliyev hit a great ball. A hard shot by Seyfäddin Abbasov from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Dämir Xudadverdiyev's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience was convinced that Niyazi Abbasov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yusif Cavadov was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Dämir Xudadverdiyev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Väkil Elxanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Xälil Mälikov sped through Araz-Şərur's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yusif Cavadov. The supporters of Araz-Şərur booed when Mingəçevir AŞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilqar Albänzadä didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Niyazi Abbasov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yusif Cavadov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xälil Mälikov in the 40th minute of play. Araz-Şərur's Yusif Cavadov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niyazi Abbasov in the 41st minute of play. With his leg Dämir Xudadverdiyev managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Araz-Şərur's Turxan Mämmädov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 51 played minutes Mingəçevir AŞ got a freekick which was hit by Qubad Cahangirov. Dämir Xudadverdiyev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turxan Mämmädov in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mingəçevir AŞ defense, Väkil Elxanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dämir Xudadverdiyev. The Mingəçevir AŞ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dämir Xudadverdiyev should have stopped the shot. Niyazi Abbasov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusif Cavadov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xälil Mälikov in the 65th minute of play forced Araz-Şərur's goalkeeper Yusif Cavadov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yusif Cavadov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xälil Mälikov in the 67th minute of play. Väkil Elxanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turxan Mämmädov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dämir Xudadverdiyev having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Väkil Elxanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araz-Şərur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Väkil Elxanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Turxan Mämmädov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Araz-Şərur's Yusif Cavadov got control of the ball when Niyazi Abbasov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Araz-Şərur's Nuşirävan Azadäliyev got a free kick in the 95th minute. Kämaläddin Vermäliyev got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 98th match minute, Mingəçevir AŞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kämaläddin Vermäliyev to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
