Säbuhi Baloğlanov charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Säbuhi Baloğlanov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, QARABAĞ FK's Säbuhi Baloğlanov got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Yaqub Asmanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildırım Beydullayev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Qaraçuxur FC's Ehtiram Azamämmädov in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye QARABAĞ FK's goalie prevented a goal. QARABAĞ FK's Yaqub Asmanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ehtiram Azamämmädov in the 8th minute of play. Säbuhi Baloğlanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rähim Näsibov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eldäniz Abduläzov fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored QARABAĞ FK's protests and gave Eldäniz Abduläzov a yellow card for diving instead. Qaraçuxur FC's Färzäli Balacayev couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for QARABAĞ FK. After 15 played minutes QARABAĞ FK got a freekick which was hit by Eldäniz Abduläzov. In the 19th minute, Ildırım Beydullayev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Qaraçuxur FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Abdulkärim Abduläzov managed to get in a good position for a shot. QARABAĞ FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulkärim Abduläzov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rähim Näsibov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ildırım Beydullayev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Rähim Näsibov came out of the goal and Abdulkärim Abduläzov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Qaraçuxur FC's Ildırım Beydullayev in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Abdulkärim Abduläzov made the kick off in the second half. Ildırım Beydullayev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Abdulkärim Abduläzov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Abdulkärim Abduläzov made a precise shot to the right of Rähim Näsibov. Qaraçuxur FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ehtiram Azamämmädov in the 78th minute of play forced QARABAĞ FK's goalkeeper Yaqub Asmanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute of the match, Ehtiram Azamämmädov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yaqub Asmanov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yaqub Asmanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ehtiram Azamämmädov in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, QARABAĞ FK's Abdulkärim Abduläzov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rähim Näsibov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, Qaraçuxur FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaqut Zülfüqarov to maneuver through the defense. The Qaraçuxur FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
