The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Häzi Bağirov during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Qobustan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariz Abdulsalamov to maneuver through the defense. Märdan Yusubov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Qobustan got a freekick which was hit by Äbilfäz Sultanov. Ziyad Gärayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Märdan Yusubov, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Loğman Ağäliyev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ariz Lätifov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fuad Alxanov came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Qobustan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fuad Alxanov couldn't finish the play. Ziyad Gärayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Märdan Yusubov in the 75th minute of play. Ziyad Gärayev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cavanşir Abdulhäşimov went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the game, Cavanşir Abdulhäşimov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. İrəvan FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qobustan the free kick. In the 80th match minute, İrəvan FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cavanşir Abdulhäşimov to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Märdan Yusubov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ariz Lätifov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fuad Alxanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaqif Imamäliyev kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Loğman Ağäliyev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qobustan's supporters rose to their feet, but Loğman Ağäliyev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariz Lätifov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. İrəvan FK had won after a very even match.
