The supporters of GenC AslaNlaR booed when Xanlar ANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balay Xudadverdiyev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Turxan Babakişiyev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Xanlar ANS reached it. In the 70th match minute, Xanlar ANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabir Ähädov to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, GenC AslaNlaR's Ähmäd Bäbirov threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Muğan Hüseyinli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Ağa Abuşov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ağa Abuşov came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the GenC AslaNlaR fans jumped to their feet.
