Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zakir Yusubov started the match with the kick off. Nävayi Xudiyev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Teymur Orxanov made a huge save. Teymur Orxanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziyäddin Imamverdiyev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nävayi Xudiyev took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teymur Orxanov. Teymur Orxanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Märäzä MKT's goalkeeper Teymur Orxanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nävayi Xudiyev. When Fariz Seyidov came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Märäzä MKT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fariz Seyidov couldn't finish the play. Zakir Yusubov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Häzi Azadäliyev having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fariz Seyidov in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Häzi Azadäliyev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ziyäddin Imamverdiyev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Teymur Orxanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ziyäddin Imamverdiyev to strike the kick off in the second half. When Nävayi Xudiyev came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Saatlı fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nävayi Xudiyev couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nävayi Xudiyev during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Saatlı was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nävayi Xudiyev to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Saatlı's goalkeeper Häzi Azadäliyev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Zakir Yusubov came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Märäzä MKT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zakir Yusubov couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Saatlı's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fariz Seyidov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Saatlı getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ilham Feruzov hit a great ball. Fariz Seyidov struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Häzi Azadäliyev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Märäzä MKT. After a defensive mix-up in Saatlı's zone, Fariz Seyidov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Häzi Azadäliyev came out of the goal and Fariz Seyidov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Märäzä MKT's Fariz Seyidov got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Saatlı's goalkeeper Häzi Azadäliyev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fariz Seyidov. Nävayi Xudiyev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saatlı fans cheered their team off the field, for while Märäzä MKT had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
