Sämändär Äkbärov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehman Äzimbäyli in the 11th minute of play. Yavär Allahverdiyev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Färrux Xälilov having to interfere. Mehman Äzimbäyli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Biläcäri's Sämändär Äkbärov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Biläcäri from getting a goal against them. Sämändär Äkbärov was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Isa Heydärov. 41 minutes into the game, Sadiq Israfilov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Färrux Xälilov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elçin Teymurov struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Sämändär Äkbärov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azərbaycan Qol kral FC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yavär Allahverdiyev made a kick off. 2-1 became the score in the 52nd minute when Mehman Äzimbäyli elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehman Äzimbäyli in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sämändär Äkbärov saved Biläcäri from getting behind. In the 64thth minute of the game Elçin Teymurov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Biläcäri's Sämändär Äkbärov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
