Saleh Almämmädov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Äliqulu Gülmämmädov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Qarabağ FK's Bäkir Daşdämirov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saleh Almämmädov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vasma Abdullayev kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Rüfät Binnätov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bäkir Daşdämirov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Äliqulu Gülmämmädov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saleh Almämmädov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Bäkir Daşdämirov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Saleh Almämmädov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Näcäf Rzamalıyev kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Äliqulu Gülmämmädov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Balakän's goal looked a bit too open when Bäkir Daşdämirov came free, but Saleh Almämmädov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Äliqulu Gülmämmädov might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saleh Almämmädov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Äliqulu Gülmämmädov ran back to his position shaking his head. Yusif Islamov's late challenge caught a Qarabağ FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yusif Islamov helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Qarabağ FK booed when Balakän was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusif Islamov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qarabağ FK's Äliqulu Gülmämmädov got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bäkir Daşdämirov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saleh Almämmädov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Äliqulu Gülmämmädov in the 72nd minute of the match. Äliqulu Gülmämmädov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Saleh Almämmädov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Äliqulu Gülmämmädov in the 77th minute of play forced Balakän's goalkeeper Saleh Almämmädov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balakän's Turxan Atayev got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Qarabağ FK's Äliqulu Gülmämmädov in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
