Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Etibar Ağacanov started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Rubaul Daşdıyev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MUGAN FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Säyid Balişov made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Elşän Abduläzov sent off a good shot on target. Etibar Ağacanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Daşdämir Äliyev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. İmişli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MUGAN FK the free kick. Daşdämir Äliyev kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. İmişli's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rubaul Daşdıyev 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. 33 minutes into the game, Rubaul Daşdıyev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Säyid Balişov. Rubaul Daşdıyev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in İmişli's zone, Elşän Abduläzov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Säyid Balişov came out of the goal and Elşän Abduläzov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for İmişli! Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rubaul Daşdıyev made a kick off. After some careless play in the İmişli defense, Rubaul Daşdıyev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Säyid Balişov. The İmişli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Säyid Balişov should have stopped the shot. In the 60thth minute of the game Rubaul Daşdıyev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but İmişli's Säyid Balişov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the game, MUGAN FK's Elşän Abduläzov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Säyid Balişov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. İmişli's Säyid Balişov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubaul Daşdıyev in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, İmişli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xidir Abdilov to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute of the match Ibrahim Fätäliyev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Säyid Balişov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When MUGAN FK's Elşän Abduläzov in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye İmişli's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubaul Daşdıyev in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Säyid Balişov saved İmişli from getting behind. Elşän Abduläzov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Säyid Balişov having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind İmişli's goalkeeper Säyid Balişov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to İmişli getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Soltan Qährämanov hit a great ball. When Rubaul Daşdıyev came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the MUGAN FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubaul Daşdıyev couldn't finish the play. Elşän Abduläzov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Säyid Balişov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the MUGAN FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
