Rubaul Daşdıyev's late challenge caught a Hacıqabul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rubaul Daşdıyev helped the player get up and apologised. Rubaul Daşdıyev kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Asif Säfärov struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Färzäli Äsädov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hacıqabul. MUGAN FK's Elşän Abduläzov got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 8 minutes of play, MUGAN FK's Elşän Abduläzov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Polad Häşimov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rubaul Daşdıyev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elşän Abduläzov in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Polad Häşimov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 16 played minutes Hacıqabul got a freekick which was hit by Kämaläddin Yaşarov. Elşän Abduläzov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polad Häşimov having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, one of Hacıqabul:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hacıqabul. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Rubaul Daşdıyev put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Polad Häşimov. A collision led to Hacıqabul getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Färid Manafov hit a great ball. Ibrahim Fätäliyev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Polad Häşimov having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elşän Abduläzov in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Polad Häşimov saved Hacıqabul from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match Elşän Abduläzov climbed in front of goal and pressed up 3-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Polad Häşimov. In the 43rd match minute, MUGAN FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xalid Ağakärimov to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Elşän Abduläzov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tapdiq Zaxundov was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rubaul Daşdıyev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MUGAN FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Elman Mälikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polad Häşimov having to interfere. Rubaul Daşdıyev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Hacıqabul's goal looked a bit too open when Elşän Abduläzov came free, but Polad Häşimov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hacıqabul's zone, Elşän Abduläzov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Polad Häşimov came out of the goal and Elşän Abduläzov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şair Malikov hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Rubaul Daşdıyev struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Polad Häşimov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUGAN FK. After having played for 68 minutes, Elşän Abduläzov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MUGAN FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elşän Abduläzov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Polad Häşimov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elşän Abduläzov in the 71st minute of the match. Elşän Abduläzov scored 5-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Polad Häşimov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Hacıqabul's zone, Elşän Abduläzov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Polad Häşimov came out of the goal and Elşän Abduläzov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Elman Mälikov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Polad Häşimov was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Hacıqabul's Asif Säfärov got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Hacıqabul getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Qağakişi Näcäfov hit a great ball. Polad Häşimov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elşän Abduläzov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Elşän Abduläzov managed to get in a good position for a shot. MUGAN FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Elşän Abduläzov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Polad Häşimov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Hacıqabul defense, Rubaul Daşdıyev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Polad Häşimov. The Hacıqabul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Polad Häşimov should have stopped the shot. A collision led to MUGAN FK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Elman Mälikov hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MUGAN FK had played much better football throughout.
