After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hacıqabul! Veyis Abuzärov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müşfiq Sadixov in the 7th minute of the match. Mahir Eyvazov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Hacıqabul defense, Mahir Eyvazov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Veyis Abuzärov. The Hacıqabul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Veyis Abuzärov should have stopped the shot. Müşfiq Sadixov took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Veyis Abuzärov. Veyis Abuzärov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Veyis Abuzärov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müşfiq Sadixov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abid Alduxov charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abid Alduxov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abid Alduxov kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Şuşa MKT's Müşfiq Sadixov got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Müşfiq Sadixov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veyis Abuzärov having to interfere. Veyis Abuzärov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahir Eyvazov, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Müşfiq Sadixov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veyis Abuzärov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Veyis Abuzärov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müşfiq Sadixov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Müşfiq Sadixov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramil Namazov made a kick off. In the 58th minute Mahir Eyvazov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veyis Abuzärov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Müşfiq Sadixov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veyis Abuzärov having to interfere. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Mahir Eyvazov sped through Hacıqabul's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Veyis Abuzärov. Mahir Eyvazov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Veyis Abuzärov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Şuşa MKT's Mahir Eyvazov, in the 69th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Şuşa MKT. If Mahir Eyvazov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hacıqabul's goalkeeper Veyis Abuzärov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 74 minutes, Müşfiq Sadixov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Şuşa MKT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Müşfiq Sadixov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Veyis Abuzärov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahir Eyvazov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Müşfiq Sadixov did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Veyis Abuzärov 79 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hacıqabul! The goalkeeper, Veyis Abuzärov, was totally fooled by Şuşa MKT's Ilyas Yusifov, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Şuşa MKT's Müşfiq Sadixov got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şuşa MKT's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
