Säyid Balişov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müşfiq Sadixov in the 14th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Şuşa MKT got a freekick which was hit by Sahib Qurbanov. Säyid Balişov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahir Eyvazov in the 22nd minute of play. Säyid Balişov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müşfiq Sadixov in the 27th minute of play. Säyid Balişov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Müşfiq Sadixov's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Säyid Balişov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahir Eyvazov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daşdämir Äliyev charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daşdämir Äliyev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind İmişli's goalkeeper Säyid Balişov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Müşfiq Sadixov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Müşfiq Sadixovs short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Säyid Balişov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of İmişli booed when Şuşa MKT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xätai Dünyamaliyev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Räsul Äsädli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soltan Qährämanov in the 60th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, İmişli's Etibar Ağacanov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Räsul Äsädli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Şuşa MKT's Säyid Balişov threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mahir Eyvazov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in İmişli's zone, Müşfiq Sadixov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Säyid Balişov came out of the goal and Müşfiq Sadixov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Müşfiq Sadixov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Säyid Balişov having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Mahir Eyvazov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 played minutes Şuşa MKT got a freekick which was hit by Şärif Daşdıyev. Säyid Balişov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahir Eyvazov in the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Müşfiq Sadixov notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of İmişli's Säyid Balişov. Säyid Balişov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Şuşa MKT's Şärif Daşdıyev got a free kick in the 90th minute. Mahir Eyvazov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Säyid Balişov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İmişli's Säyid Balişov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahir Eyvazov in the 96th minute of play.
