Qarabağ's Hidayät Äläkbärov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvatore Foti in the 19th minute of play. Salvatore Foti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hidayät Äläkbärov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Hidayät Äläkbärov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Häsrät Azamämmädov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hidayät Äläkbärov came out and tried to block the shot, but Häsrät Azamämmädov slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded --FIRELAND-- left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Qarabağ.
