The audience thought a goal was coming when Mähärräm Çobanov got free with Mätläb Abdulxaliqov in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xidir Kärimov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Mätläb Abdulxaliqov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Qäbälä getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sadiq Ağamirzadä hit a great ball. A hard shot 12 in the game by Mähärräm Çobanov from a close distance when the talented Mätläb Abdulxaliqov managed to make a qualified save. Qäbälä's players were relieved. Mätläb Abdulxaliqov was a little too slow when Xidir Kärimov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Mätläb Abdulxaliqov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xidir Kärimov, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Sadiq Ağamirzadä hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Qäbälä fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Xidir Kärimov in the 25th minute of play forced Qäbälä's goalkeeper Mätläb Abdulxaliqov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Qäbälä got a freekick which was hit by Sadiq Ağamirzadä. Mähärräm Çobanov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Mätläb Abdulxaliqov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mähärräm Çobanov in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mätläb Abdulxaliqov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 36th minute, Qäbälä's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xidir Kärimov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The goalkeeper, Mätläb Abdulxaliqov, was totally fooled by Kürdämir's Ömär Äsädulla, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xidir Kärimov was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Qäbälä's zone, Xidir Kärimov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mätläb Abdulxaliqov came out of the goal and Xidir Kärimov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sadiq Ağamirzadä hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Qäbälä's Mätläb Abdulxaliqov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mähärräm Çobanov in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Mähärräm Çobanov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kürdämir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Äşräf Bağirov lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Mätläb Abdulxaliqov had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ömär Äsädulla's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Qäbälä defense, Ömär Äsädulla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mätläb Abdulxaliqov. The Qäbälä fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mätläb Abdulxaliqov should have stopped the shot. If Xidir Kärimov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mätläb Abdulxaliqov came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Kürdämir's Mähärräm Çobanov. But to his dismay, Mähärräm Çobanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 94 minutes, Sehran Alesrefov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Qäbälä and the Kürdämir players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Qäbälä got a freekick which was hit by Sehran Alesrefov. Kürdämir walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
