After a defensive mix-up in Qäbälä's zone, Zakir Xudadverdiyev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mätläb Abdulxaliqov came out of the goal and Zakir Xudadverdiyev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Näsib Yusubov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Näsib Yusubov made the kick off in the second half. Cäfär Baxşiyev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulla Ağalarov having to interfere. Sehran Alesrefov made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mavi Academy's Qılman Hüseyinli. Näsib Yusubov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mätläb Abdulxaliqov having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Qäbälä's goalkeeper Mätläb Abdulxaliqov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mavi Academy's Zakir Xudadverdiyev got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Mätläb Abdulxaliqov managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Mavi Academy's Näsib Yusubov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Näsib Yusubov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Mätläb Abdulxaliqov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Famil Äsädov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Mätläb Abdulxaliqov made a huge save. Näsib Yusubov struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Mätläb Abdulxaliqov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mavi Academy. Sadiq Ağamirzadä hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Näsib Yusubov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mätläb Abdulxaliqov having to interfere. Mavi Academy were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
