The corner led SanSon's Mayis Äzizov to fire away a dangerous shot which Mehralı Abişov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mayis Äzizov's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Mehralı Abişov - 2-7 was put on the score board in the 85th minute. After 88 played minutes SanSon got a freekick which was hit by Natiq Isgändärov. Söhrab Israfilov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave SanSon a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mayis Äzizov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GALATASARAY's Mehralı Abişov. 3-7. When Söhrab Israfilov came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the SanSon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Söhrab Israfilov couldn't finish the play. In the 101st minute Söhrab Israfilov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehralı Abişov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The SanSon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GALATASARAY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
