Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mehran Nağiyev started the match with the kick off. Hidayät Äläkbärov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qalib Ağanäbiyev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Namaz Bünyatov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Mehran Nağiyev notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Xanabad ANS's Laçın Zamanov. Laçın Zamanov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, Xanabad ANS's goal looked a bit too open when Zülfüqar Behbudov came free, but Laçın Zamanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zülfüqar Behbudov kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Xanabad ANS getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Arşimed Isgändärov hit a great ball. Zülfüqar Behbudov took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laçın Zamanov. Laçın Zamanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Laçın Zamanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaqub Ağankäri, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Zülfüqar Behbudov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Laçın Zamanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehran Nağiyev in the 31st minute of the match. If Yaqub Ağankäri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehran Nağiyev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Laçın Zamanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zülfüqar Behbudov struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Laçın Zamanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Qarabağ. 41 minutes into the match, Qarabağ's Mehran Nağiyev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laçın Zamanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Älağa Abdulrähimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xätai Abdurähmanov hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes of play, Qarabağ's Zülfüqar Behbudov made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laçın Zamanov was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Qäzänfär Isayev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Yaqub Ağankäri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mehran Nağiyev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laçın Zamanov having to make a save. Laçın Zamanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehran Nağiyev went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Yaşıldadur Sultanov kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Yaqub Ağankäri came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Qarabağ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yaqub Ağankäri couldn't finish the play. Zülfüqar Behbudov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hidayät Äläkbärov came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Xanabad ANS's Xidir Hüseyinli. But to his dismay, Xidir Hüseyinli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. After 95 played minutes Xanabad ANS got a freekick which was hit by Xätai Abdurähmanov. In the 97th minute, Zülfüqar Behbudov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Qarabağ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7.
