Muğan Bäkirli charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muğan Bäkirli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mavi Academy booed when Kürdämir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muğan Bäkirli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Xidir Kärimov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Näsib Yusubov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Näsib Yusubov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şähriyar Äfändiyev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Şähriyar Äfändiyev made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Näsib Yusubov sent off a good shot on target. The Mavi Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kürdämir were winning 0-1.

Ömär Äsädulla tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Şähriyar Äfändiyev. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 51st minute. Xidir Kärimov struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Abdulla Ağalarov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kürdämir. Şähriyar Äfändiyev came out of the goal and Näsib Yusubov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zakir Xudadverdiyev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Şähriyar Äfändiyev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
