Vahim Yaqubov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, Xanabad ANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qäzänfär Isayev to maneuver through the defense. When Mavi Academy's Näsib Yusubov in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xanabad ANS's goalie prevented a goal. Xidir Hüseyinli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdulla Ağalarov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. When Qalib Ağanäbiyev fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xanabad ANS's protests and gave Qalib Ağanäbiyev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute Qäzänfär Isayev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulla Ağalarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Yasin Bayramzadä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Näsib Yusubov in the 31st minute of play forced Xanabad ANS's goalkeeper Laçın Zamanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qalib Ağanäbiyev got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 38 minutes into the match, Qäzänfär Isayev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdulla Ağalarov. Mavi Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Qäzänfär Isayev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Näsib Yusubov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Laçın Zamanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xidir Hüseyinli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Xanabad ANS's goalkeeper Laçın Zamanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Näsib Yusubov. In the 56th minute, Famil Äsädov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Näsib Yusubov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laçın Zamanov having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Xanabad ANS's goalkeeper Laçın Zamanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zakir Xudadverdiyev. 68 minutes into the match, Xanabad ANS's goalkeeper Laçın Zamanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Näsib Yusubov. Xätai Abdurähmanov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Näsib Yusubov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laçın Zamanov having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Yasin Bayramzadä hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Famil Äsädov struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Laçın Zamanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mavi Academy. Mavi Academy were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Xanabad ANS to leave the ground with a draw.
