The referee showed Mehran Nağiyev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Qarabağ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehran Nağiyev to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kälbäcär booed when Qarabağ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaşıldadur Sultanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Kälbäcär fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Mehran Nağiyev ran back to his position shaking his head. Kälbäcär's Dämir Räsulov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehran Nağiyev in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Yaqub Ağankäri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Qusif Mehdiyev fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Qarabağ's protests and gave Qusif Mehdiyev a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Qarabağ got a freekick which was hit by Qusif Mehdiyev. After 79 played minutes Kälbäcär got a freekick which was hit by Mövlüd Yolçiyev. Zülfüqar Behbudov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dämir Räsulov having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Mehran Nağiyev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qarabağ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kälbäcär the free kick. After a rather tough play, Qarabağ's Mämmäd Ämrahov got a free kick in the 94th minute. Qarabağ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kälbäcär for a fine match.
