An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Jula in the 3rd minute of play forced Mübariz Team's goalkeeper Äjdärxan Cümşüdov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Mübariz Team's goal looked a bit too open when Haydar İsmet came free, but Äjdärxan Cümşüdov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Grigore Jula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Äjdärxan Cümşüdov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Haydar İsmet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haydar İsmet scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Äjdärxan Cümşüdov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qärib Äşräfov in the 17th minute of play. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şahin Ağankäri in the 19th minute of the match. Zengezur were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Mübariz Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Qaryağdı Älibalalı took the corner. After taking down the ball on Zengezur's corner Qaryağdı Älibalalı fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Äjdärxan Cümşüdov quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şakir Adişirinov in the 21st minute of play forced Zengezur's goalkeeper Phil Tonnochy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şahin Ağankäri in the 26th minute of the match. Zengezur's Phil Tonnochy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şakir Adişirinov in the 27th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, Mübariz Team's Şakir Adişirinov made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phil Tonnochy was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute Şahin Ağankäri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Äjdärxan Cümşüdov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tofiq Zülfüqarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mübariz Team's Äjdärxan Cümşüdov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şahin Ağankäri in the 35th minute of play. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haydar İsmet in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match, Vüsal Äsgärov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Phil Tonnochy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Phil Tonnochy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vüsal Äsgärov in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Abbasäli Ağamämmädov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phil Tonnochy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vüsal Äsgärov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Phil Tonnochy made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Mübariz Team's Seyfäddin Äsädli got a free kick in the 46th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Zengezur's Qaryağdı Älibalalı tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şakir Adişirinov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Phil Tonnochy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niyaz Malişov's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Mübariz Team's Äjdärxan Cümşüdov got control of the ball when Grigore Jula tried to sneak it across the goal line. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şahin Ağankäri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Zengezur's Ibrahim Älizadä got a free kick in the 64th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Zengezur's goal looked a bit too open when Şakir Adişirinov came free, but Phil Tonnochy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phil Tonnochy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vüsal Äsgärov, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vüsal Äsgärov in the 81st minute of play forced Zengezur's goalkeeper Phil Tonnochy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phil Tonnochy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vüsal Äsgärov in the 83rd minute of play. Haydar İsmet was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Zengezur's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Zengezur's Phil Tonnochy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vüsal Äsgärov in the 88th minute of play. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haydar İsmet, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Äjdärxan Cümşüdov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 96 minutes into the match, Vüsal Äsgärov notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Zengezur's Phil Tonnochy. Phil Tonnochy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zengezur players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mübariz Team.
