Hubert Gielnik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Äjdärxan Cümşüdov made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Neftci's goal looked a bit too open when Bäşir Zaxundov came free, but José Augusto de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Gielnik in the 14th minute of play forced Mübariz Team's goalkeeper Äjdärxan Cümşüdov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Hubert Gielnik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mübariz Team's Äjdärxan Cümşüdov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mübariz Team's Äjdärxan Cümşüdov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Islam Ähädli in the 19th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Bäşir Zaxundov put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of José Augusto de Queiroz. A hard shot 27 in the game by Hubert Gielnik from a close distance when the talented Äjdärxan Cümşüdov managed to make a qualified save. Mübariz Team's players were relieved. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Neftci's Dominik Domeradzki. But to his dismay, Dominik Domeradzki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 36 played minutes Neftci's Dominik Domeradzki stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Äjdärxan Cümşüdov stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Mübariz Team of the goal. José Augusto de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niyaz Malişov in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Neftci's Dominik Domeradzki got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hubert Gielnik made the kick off in the second half. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Domeradzki in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Niyaz Malişov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Domeradzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Dominik Domeradzki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abbasäli Ağamämmädov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. José Augusto de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mübariz Team's Niyaz Malişov suffered a sprained foot after 68 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elsevär Süleymanov during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bäşir Zaxundov got free with José Augusto de Queiroz in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hubert Gielnik in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Äjdärxan Cümşüdov saved Mübariz Team from getting behind. If Dominik Domeradzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76thth minute of the game Islam Ähädli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mübariz Team's Äjdärxan Cümşüdov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Neftci's goalkeeper José Augusto de Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bäşir Zaxundov. In the 79th minute, Seyfäddin Äsädli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hubert Gielnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Äjdärxan Cümşüdov having to interfere. Ziya Ataşov charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ziya Ataşov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Zakir Abdulrazakov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neftci fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Äjdärxan Cümşüdov came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Neftci's Hubert Gielnik. But to his dismay, Hubert Gielnik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. José Augusto de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bäşir Zaxundov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Hubert Gielnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Äjdärxan Cümşüdov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
