After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Qian Chao Ting managed to get in a good position for a shot. Şamaxı Bankirlər's supporters rose to their feet, but Qian Chao Ting was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zaur Äläsgärov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Oscar Mas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zaur Äläsgärov was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After having played for 42 minutes, Oscar Mas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XTQ FK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evandro Santana to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Zaur Äläsgärov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 54thth minute of the game Oscar Mas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XTQ FK's Zaur Äläsgärov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Oscar Mas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rüfät Balağayev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mänsur Rzayev. Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Oscar Mas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zaur Äläsgärov came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Şamaxı Bankirlər's Oscar Mas. But to his dismay, Oscar Mas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pierre-Antoine Houdini might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mänsur Rzayev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pierre-Antoine Houdini ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruy Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zaur Äläsgärov having to interfere. Zaur Äläsgärov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Mas in the 87th minute of play. In the 97th match minute, XTQ FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Rebelo to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Şamaxı Bankirlər had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
