Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rostam Sharifinia in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gholam Nateghi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Asghar Asgharzadeh's late challenge caught a Foulsham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asghar Asgharzadeh helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Exeter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asghar Asgharzadeh to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes, Foulsham's Rostam Tahmasebi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mansoor Babakan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rostam Sharifinia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Foulsham's goal looked a bit too open when Touraj Farzanian came free, but Gholam Nateghi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Foulsham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sepehr Farnoudi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Hooshang Alviri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansoor Babakan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Exeter's Touraj Farzanian made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gholam Nateghi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sepehr Farnoudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansoor Babakan having to interfere. Hooshang Alviri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Foulsham booed when Exeter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kambiz Rahnavard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kambiz Rahnavard kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 95th play minutes Rostam Sharifinia shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Gholam Nateghi and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Exeter fans cheered their team off the field, for while Foulsham had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
