Spectators: 7367 (Terracing: 6367, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 5th match minute, Ifk göteborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salar Homayoun to maneuver through the defense. Shahrooz Heidari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akbar Shakouri's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Davood Sarlak charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davood Sarlak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Ifk göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Davood Sarlak. Shahrooz Heidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamran Rahnama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Arshia Asslibasab fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Shahrooz Heidari, passed just outside the right post. In the 17th minute, Mani Farnoudi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ifk göteborg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 22nd minute Akbar Habibi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hooshyar Sadeqi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Akbar Shakouri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kamran Rahnama hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Akbar Shakouri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shahrooz Heidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Thurnscoe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farzan Izadpanah to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Thurnscoe's Hooshyar Sadeqi got control of the ball when Akbar Habibi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ifk göteborg's Hooshyar Pashazadeh got a free kick in the 69th minute. With 75 minutes on the clock, Hirad Abedzadeh commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 74th minute, one of Thurnscoe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Thurnscoe. The referee gave Ifk göteborg a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hooshyar Pashazadeh, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Thurnscoe's Hooshyar Sadeqi. 1-3. After 81 played minutes Thurnscoe got a freekick which was hit by Milad Eslami. After 82 played minutes, Ifk göteborg's Hooshyar Pashazadeh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hooshyar Sadeqi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ifk göteborg reached it. Thurnscoe's Hooshyar Sadeqi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Thurnscoe from getting a goal against them. Bardia Kaebi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Shahrooz Heidari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bardia Kaebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hooshyar Sadeqi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amir Bahonar in the 91st minute of play. Hooshyar Sadeqi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mani Farnoudi in the 94th minute of the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Kamran Rahnama managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thurnscoe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamran Rahnama was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ifk göteborg walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
