Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jalil Tayebi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Siavash Ghayeghran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mansoor Asadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Sattar Mahdavikia's late challenge caught a Harefield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sattar Mahdavikia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Haydock United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sattar Mahdavikia to maneuver through the defense. Mansoor Asadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siavash Ghayeghran having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jalil Tayebi in the 11th minute of play forced Haydock United's goalkeeper Siavash Ghayeghran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siavash Ghayeghran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mansoor Asadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hormoz Haghi struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Siavash Ghayeghran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harefield. If Younes Maleki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Arman Karimi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haydock United's supporters rose to their feet, but Arman Karimi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hassan Daei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jalil Tayebi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jalil Tayebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Mansoor Asadi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Siavash Ghayeghran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haydock United's Siavash Ghayeghran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mansoor Asadi in the 36th minute of play. Jalil Tayebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jalil Tayebi in the 46th minute of play forced Haydock United's goalkeeper Siavash Ghayeghran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Harefield were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arman Karimi to strike the kick off in the second half. Mansoor Asadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mansoor Asadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Siavash Ghayeghran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arman Karimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hassan Daei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siavash Ghayeghran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jalil Tayebi's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The supporters of Haydock United booed when Harefield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mansoor Asadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Mansoor Asadi could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Siavash Ghayeghran however easily saved by the left post. Younes Maleki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jalil Tayebi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siavash Ghayeghran having to make a save. Haydock United's Siavash Ghayeghran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jalil Tayebi in the 88th minute of play. If Jalil Tayebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Jalil Tayebi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siavash Ghayeghran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Harefield had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
