Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Salar Azizi took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the South Shields defense, Saman Hashemian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rashid Kaebi. The South Shields fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rashid Kaebi should have stopped the shot. Rashid Kaebi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zia Ostadasadi's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. When Parham Khalatbari fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored South Shields's protests and gave Parham Khalatbari a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, one of South Shields:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for South Shields. In the 19th minute Ashkan Firoozabadi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Saman Hashemian charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saman Hashemian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rashid Kaebi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koosha Nourizadeh, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Naser Moharrami came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Chelsea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naser Moharrami couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Naser Moharrami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rashid Kaebi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by South Shields's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Koosha Nourizadeh was slow to take the kick. During this time Chelsea's players had a chance to rest. In the 32nd minute of the match Yousef Babakan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rashid Kaebi skillfully saved the ball. Sohrab Ahmadzadeh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Iman Gohari made a huge save. Siavash Ghanad kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zia Ostadasadi in the 38th minute of play forced South Shields's goalkeeper Rashid Kaebi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Yousef Babakan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rashid Kaebi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The South Shields players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chelsea were winning 0-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zia Ostadasadi during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rahim Nourizadeh to maneuver through the defense. Chelsea's Iman Gohari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Touraj Rezazadeh in the 83rd minute of play. Koosha Nourizadeh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Chelsea booed when South Shields was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sohrab Ahmadzadeh didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Chelsea left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than South Shields.
