Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hedzyat Shirzad made the kick off and thus started the match. With a little luck, Gateshead FC's Bahman Golzar got control of the ball when Zia Ostadasadi tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hedzyat Shirzad in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iman Gohari saved Chelsea from getting behind. In the 11th minute of the match, Naser Moharrami tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bahman Golzar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bahman Golzar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sasan Naghdabadi in the 12th minute of play. Koosha Nourizadeh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Soroush Mazloumi charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Soroush Mazloumi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Soroush Mazloumi hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Hedzyat Shirzad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iman Gohari was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Chelsea's Zia Ostadasadi got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bahman Golzar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naser Moharrami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pouya Ghorbani in the 35th minute of play forced Chelsea's goalkeeper Iman Gohari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iman Gohari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Soroush Mazloumi's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Saman Hashemian hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Gateshead FC got a freekick which was hit by Soroush Mazloumi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hedzyat Shirzad in the 45th minute of play forced Chelsea's goalkeeper Iman Gohari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iman Gohari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khashayar Hatami, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zia Ostadasadi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Koosha Nourizadeh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iman Gohari made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Khashayar Hatami sent off a good shot on target. Yousef Eslami was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. Koosha Nourizadeh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bahman Golzar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gateshead FC's Bahman Golzar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koosha Nourizadeh in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Yousef Babakan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bahman Golzar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Naser Moharrami came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Chelsea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naser Moharrami couldn't finish the play. After 70 minutes, Zia Ostadasadi made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gateshead FC's Bahman Golzar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Koosha Nourizadeh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bahman Golzar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chelsea's Naser Moharrami got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chelsea's Koosha Nourizadeh got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Chelsea's Zia Ostadasadi in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gateshead FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Naser Moharrami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahman Golzar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zia Ostadasadi in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Naser Moharrami got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Koosha Nourizadeh took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bahman Golzar. Bahman Golzar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 94 played minutes Gateshead FC got a freekick which was hit by Pouya Ghorbani. Naser Moharrami struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Bahman Golzar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea. Chelsea's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
