After a defensive mix-up in Pasargad FC's zone, Borzoo Farhadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aram Ghasemlou came out of the goal and Borzoo Farhadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iman Montazeri kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Borzoo Farhadi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aram Ghasemlou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 15 minutes into the match, Anoush Shahbazi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aram Ghasemlou. Pasargad FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anoush Shahbazi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 18 minutes, Younes Talaei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pasargad FC and the Pocklington AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Younes Talaei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Pocklington AFC's Borzoo Farhadi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aram Ghasemlou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Borzoo Farhadi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aram Ghasemlou was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. If Amir Hamidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pocklington AFC's Farhad Talebi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Pocklington AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 34th match minute, Pocklington AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amir Hamidi to maneuver through the defense. Sasan Bagheri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farhad Talebi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Borzoo Farhadi in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aram Ghasemlou saved Pasargad FC from getting behind. Pocklington AFC's Farhang Majidi got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pasargad FC's goalkeeper Aram Ghasemlou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pocklington AFC's attentive Amir Hamidi managed to snatch the ball when Iman Montazeri made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. The Pasargad FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pocklington AFC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armin Iranian was the one to do the kick off. Sasan Bagheri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farhad Talebi having to interfere. If Armin Iranian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Amir Hamidi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocklington AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amir Hamidi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aram Ghasemlou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amir Hamidi might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aram Ghasemlou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amir Hamidi ran back to his position shaking his head. Borzoo Farhadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Borzoo Farhadi in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aram Ghasemlou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amir Hamidi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aram Ghasemlou having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sami Khakpour got free with Aram Ghasemlou in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iman Montazeri hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the game, Mehrzad Peirovani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pocklington AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pasargad FC the free kick. Pocklington AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
