The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A hard shot 21 in the game by Borzoo Farhadi from a close distance when the talented Behrad Tamadon managed to make a qualified save. Netherton's players were relieved. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Bamdad Teymourian made the kick off in the second half. Bamdad Teymourian charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bamdad Teymourian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pocklington AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borzoo Farhadi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hassan Peirovani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Farhad Talebi made a huge save. The supporters of Netherton booed when Pocklington AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amir Hamidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pocklington AFC's attentive Amir Hamidi managed to snatch the ball when Sami Shahroudi made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. Behrad Tamadon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Hamidi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 75 played minutes Netherton got a freekick which was hit by Shaya Asgharzadeh. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Pocklington AFC's much stronger midfield.
