Behrad Tamadon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shahram Narimani, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Hamed Rezaei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Netherton getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Anoush Faryadshiran hit a great ball. After 27 minutes, Shahram Narimani made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Netherton's Behrad Tamadon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Shaya Asgharzadeh fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherton's protests and gave Shaya Asgharzadeh a yellow card for diving instead. Whittlesey's supporters rose to their feet, but Shahram Narimani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Behrad Tamadon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Shahram Narimani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Behrad Tamadon was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Behrad Tamadon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shahram Narimani's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Whittlesey's Shahram Narimani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Behrad Tamadon narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
