Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mani Parsivand made the kick off which started today's match. Mani Parsivand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahman Rafipour having to interfere. With a little luck, Tufnell Park's Hooshang Rostampour got control of the ball when Younes Abedzadeh tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tufnell Park's zone, Rakhshan Badamaki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hooshang Rostampour came out of the goal and Rakhshan Badamaki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Rakhshan Badamaki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hooshang Rostampour. Rakhshan Badamaki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tufnell Park's goalkeeper Hooshang Rostampour, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Behrouz Ghomi fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tufnell Park's protests and gave Behrouz Ghomi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Birkenhead booed when Tufnell Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behrouz Ghomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Younes Abedzadeh was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Tufnell Park's Hooshang Rostampour got control of the ball when Younes Abedzadeh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rakhshan Badamaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rakhshan Badamaki in the 25th minute of play forced Tufnell Park's goalkeeper Hooshang Rostampour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Tufnell Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bamshad Farahmand to maneuver through the defense. Hooshang Rostampour was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pirooz Talebi. Mani Parsivand succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Tufnell Park's Mani Parsivand got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Rakhshan Badamaki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rakhshan Badamaki to strike the kick off in the second half. Akbar Nourian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahman Rafipour having to interfere. After 66 minutes of play, Tufnell Park's Akbar Nourian made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bahman Rafipour was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the game, Mani Parsivand recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bahman Rafipour. Mani Parsivand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. If Rakhshan Badamaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mani Parsivand in the 81st minute of play forced Birkenhead's goalkeeper Bahman Rafipour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Younes Abedzadeh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Tufnell Park defense, Younes Abedzadeh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hooshang Rostampour. The Tufnell Park fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hooshang Rostampour should have stopped the shot. Mani Parsivand struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Bahman Rafipour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tufnell Park. Mani Parsivand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
