Hereford United's Amir Parsa Rahmati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Parsa Ghomi in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Rostam Rahmati left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hereford United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Hereford United's Nader Fazel in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rostam Rahmati made a kick off. Sawtry's Massoud Ghotbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rostam Rahmati in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Hereford United getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Zakaria behzadpoor hit a great ball. If Rostam Rahmati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. One of Sawtry:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hereford United:s goal. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Hereford United. Kamran Moradi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Massoud Ghotbi. 1-5. Saeed Artoonian's late challenge caught a Hereford United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saeed Artoonian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Sawtry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saeed Artoonian to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes Sawtry got a freekick which was hit by Abtin Heshmatzadeh. Massoud Ghotbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rostam Rahmati in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Morteza Razzaghi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sawtry's supporters rose to their feet, but Morteza Razzaghi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amir Parsa Rahmati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rostam Rahmati in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Massoud Ghotbi saved Sawtry from getting behind. Mehran Nouri struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Massoud Ghotbi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hereford United. When the final whistle sounded Hereford United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sawtry.
