With an all-out effort, Ali Daei FC's Afshin Sarlak threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rahim Habibi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ali Daei FC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Moseley's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rahim Habibi took the corner. Mohammad Reza Alinejad hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Rahim Habibi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Mehrzad Moharrami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rahim Habibi had several of the Moseley's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Afshin Sarlak as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 26th match minute, Moseley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sattar Memarzadeh to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Ali Daei FC's Rahim Habibi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Afshin Sarlak. That made the score 4-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 31st minute of the match Hootan Shiri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sina Taheri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Sattar Memarzadeh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Daei FC's Borzoo Fazeli got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rahim Habibi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Afshin Sarlak made a huge save. Borzoo Fazeli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afshin Sarlak having to make a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Firouz Ghoreishi was the one to do the kick off. Afshin Sarlak came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ali Daei FC's Rahim Habibi. But to his dismay, Rahim Habibi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Afshin Sarlak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamed Fatemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Firouz Ghoreishi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sina Taheri having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Borzoo Fazeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ali Daei FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borzoo Fazeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Moseley getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mohammad Reza Alinejad hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Ali Daei FC's Rahim Habibi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. In the 71st minute, Ali Daei FC's Sattar Iranian seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sattar Iranian the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ali Daei FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sattar Iranian had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ali Daei FC! When the match had been going on for 73 minutes, Moseley's Mohammad Reza Alinejad got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sina Taheri. 77 minutes into the game, Borzoo Fazeli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Afshin Sarlak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the match, Mehrzad Moharrami had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afshin Sarlak. Moseley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehrzad Moharrami was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Abtin Rezazadeh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sina Taheri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firouz Ghoreishi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 played minutes Moseley got a freekick which was hit by Farzan Parsivand.
