A collision led to Whitworth getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Koosha Vaezi hit a great ball. Sattar Firoozabadi made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Koosha Vaezi however managed to control. Salman Roudbarian made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Yaghoub Zahraei sent off a good shot on target. Ali Barzegar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 30th playminute. If Ali Barzegar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ali Barzegar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Eastern Kurdistan FC booed when Whitworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sattar Firoozabadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Barzegar in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Salman Roudbarian, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Jahangir Abadian fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eastern Kurdistan FC's protests and gave Jahangir Abadian a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Eastern Kurdistan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jahangir Abadian to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Behrad Fattahi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koosha Vaezi in the 57th minute of play. Salman Roudbarian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Barzegar in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sattar Firoozabadi during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Whitworth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sattar Firoozabadi to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Ali Barzegar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Ali Barzegar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salman Roudbarian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Nader Sajjadi with Sattar Firoozabadi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nader Sajjadi made in the 75th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Koosha Vaezi. A sloppy throw-in by Sattar Firoozabadi in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Eastern Kurdistan FC's Jahangir Abadian. Ali Barzegar scored 3-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salman Roudbarian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Koosha Vaezi kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Salman Roudbarian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Barzegar in the 84th minute of the match. Ali Barzegar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jahangir Abadian was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 91st minute, Jahangir Abadian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Eastern Kurdistan FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
