Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rahim Habibi took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Gholam Reza Fallah Hamidabadi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sina Taheri, passed just outside the right post. Bardia Golzar's late challenge caught a Ali Daei FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bardia Golzar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sawtry's Bardia Golzar got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Sattar Iranian suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Gholam Reza Fallah Hamidabadi fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sawtry's protests and gave Gholam Reza Fallah Hamidabadi a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Daei FC made a substitution. Karim Hajrezaei replaced Sattar Iranian. In the 11th minute, Gholam Reza Fallah Hamidabadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Massoud Ghotbi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehrzad Moharrami went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Sawtry booed when Ali Daei FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amir Mahdi Khalatbari didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Gholam Reza Fallah Hamidabadi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sawtry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gholam Reza Fallah Hamidabadi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamed Fatemi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Massoud Ghotbi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Sawtry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdows Azimi to maneuver through the defense. Massoud Ghotbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahim Habibi in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamed Fatemi in the 40th minute of play forced Sawtry's goalkeeper Massoud Ghotbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Sawtry's goal looked a bit too open when Borzoo Fazeli came free, but Massoud Ghotbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Ali Daei FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gholam Reza Fallah Hamidabadi made the kick off in the second half. Borzoo Fazeli scored 0-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Massoud Ghotbi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sina Taheri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gholam Reza Fallah Hamidabadi in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rahim Habibi in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Massoud Ghotbi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Sawtry defense, Rahim Habibi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Massoud Ghotbi. The Sawtry fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Massoud Ghotbi should have stopped the shot. Hamed Fatemi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Borzoo Fazeli took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Massoud Ghotbi to make any attempt to save it. Kaveh Amirabadi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Sawtry's Massoud Ghotbi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Sawtry from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rahim Habibi in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Massoud Ghotbi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Mehrzad Moharrami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ali Daei FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehrzad Moharrami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Massoud Ghotbi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Sawtry's Massoud Ghotbi got control of the ball when Amir Mahdi Khalatbari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kaveh Amirabadi hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Sina Taheri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morteza Razzaghi in the 87th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Morteza Razzaghi in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sina Taheri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sina Taheri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gholam Reza Fallah Hamidabadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. A collision led to Ali Daei FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Rahim Habibi hit a great ball. Mehrzad Moharrami blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Massoud Ghotbi having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rahim Habibi in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Massoud Ghotbi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Ali Daei FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sawtry throughout the match.
