Iran Academy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hereford United the free kick. The supporters of Hereford United booed when Iran Academy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Changeez Kashi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Behrang Babaei hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes Iran Academy FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kamran Moradi who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Hereford United's Sami Tahmasebi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Iran Academy FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Changeez Kashi hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Rostam Rahmati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zakaria behzadpoor hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Rostam Rahmati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hereford United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rostam Rahmati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rostam Rahmati in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hesam Ghods prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Jahandar Parsivand notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hereford United's Amir Parsa Rahmati. Amir Parsa Rahmati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the game, Behrang Babaei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 40th minute, Rostam Rahmati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nader Fazel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javeed Babaei hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdows Haghi made a kick off. Hesam Ghods stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rostam Rahmati's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Hereford United's goalkeeper Amir Parsa Rahmati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jahandar Parsivand. Mehran Nouri's late challenge caught a Iran Academy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehran Nouri helped the player get up and apologised. Mehran Nouri hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 61 minutes of play, Iran Academy FC's Jahandar Parsivand made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amir Parsa Rahmati was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 65 played minutes Hereford United got a freekick which was hit by Shervin Azimi. In the 66th minute, Mehran Nouri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdows Haghi had several of the Hereford United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Amir Parsa Rahmati as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rostam Rahmati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Hesam Ghods tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84th play minutes Rostam Rahmati shot 2-4, a short shot which went by Hesam Ghods and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice moves Jahandar Parsivand could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Amir Parsa Rahmati however easily saved by the left post. Hesam Ghods took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nader Fazel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sohrab Hejazi's late challenge caught a Hereford United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sohrab Hejazi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Nader Fazel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hereford United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Hereford United's Nader Fazel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Iran Academy FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Iran Academy FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
