Spectators: 5990 (Terracing: 4750, Seating: 1225, VIP seats: 15) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Haidar Mehmood took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Tenterden FC defense, Haidar Mehmood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sajjad Najam. The Tenterden FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sajjad Najam should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute Sikandar Gilani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sajjad Najam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Newport United's Haidar Mehmood nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sajjad Najam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 10th minute Moazzam Sultan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sajjad Najam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rahman Munir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasir Intisar in the 12th minute of play. Sohaib Sharif kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Yasir Intisar hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Sikandar Gilani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sajjad Najam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the game, Zain Sajid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tenterden FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newport United the free kick. In the 25th minute Moazzam Sultan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sajjad Najam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moazzam Sultan in the 28th minute of play forced Tenterden FC's goalkeeper Sajjad Najam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Zafar Mukhtar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sajjad Najam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tenterden FC's Sajjad Najam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moazzam Sultan in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Moazzam Sultan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sajjad Najam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shamshad Paracha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rahman Munir having to make a save. In the 37th minute Haidar Mehmood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sajjad Najam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haidar Mehmood took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sajjad Najam. Sajjad Najam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 44thth minute of the game Moazzam Sultan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tenterden FC's Sajjad Najam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Haidar Mehmood made a precise shot to the right of Sajjad Najam. Tenterden FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yasir Intisar was the one to do the kick off. Sajjad Najam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haidar Mehmood in the 52nd minute of play. Sajjad Najam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nawaz Jahangir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tenterden FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Husnain Tabeer hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Tenterden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haidar Mehmood came free, but Sajjad Najam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tenterden FC's Shamshad Paracha got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moazzam Sultan got free with Sajjad Najam in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Newport United's Haidar Mehmood slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sajjad Najam. That made the score 0-7 after 70 minutes of play. Tenterden FC's Sajjad Najam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Tenterden FC from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute Haidar Mehmood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sajjad Najam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rahman Munir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamid Aafaq, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Sikandar Gilani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamid Aafaq received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rahman Munir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Nawaz Jahangir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Sajjad Najam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haris Dar got free with Sajjad Najam in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sajjad Najam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moazzam Sultan in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Tenterden FC's Sajjad Najam got control of the ball when Nawaz Jahangir tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Haidar Mehmood kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sajjad Najam. That made the score 0-9 in the 93 minute of play. Newport United played a much better game than Tenterden FC and deserved their victory. The Tenterden FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
