Taha Khawaja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammad Zubair in the 8th minute of the match. Zenit Hammers FC's Delawar Jahangir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Safdar Fakhir in the 11th minute of play. Delawar Jahangir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Safdar Fakhir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Masroor Usmani's late challenge caught a Navy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Masroor Usmani helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zenit Hammers FC's Masroor Usmani got a free kick in the 18th minute. A collision led to Zenit Hammers FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sohail Khawaja hit a great ball. Sohail Khaleels short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Delawar Jahangir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Delawar Jahangir was a little too slow when Safdar Fakhir got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. Sohail Khaleel's late challenge caught a Zenit Hammers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sohail Khaleel helped the player get up and apologised. Sohail Khaleel hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Taha Khawaja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sohail Khawaja in the 37th minute of the match. Sohail Khawaja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taha Khawaja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Muhammad Zubair charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muhammad Zubair the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Muhammad Zubair kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Sohail Khaleel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Navy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sohail Khaleel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Navy FC's Saqlain Salman got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Sohail Khaleel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delawar Jahangir having to interfere. Delawar Jahangir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sohail Khaleel in the 67th minute of play. Sohail Khaleel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute, Sohail Khaleel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delawar Jahangir was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Sohail Khaleel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sohail Khaleel in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delawar Jahangir saved Zenit Hammers FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Navy FC's zone, Muhammad Zubair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taha Khawaja came out of the goal and Muhammad Zubair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sohail Khaleel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delawar Jahangir having to interfere. Many of Zenit Hammers FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Zenit Hammers FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Navy FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
