The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Naveed Arslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Petersfield:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Crowthorne City:s goal. The referee gave Crowthorne City a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Subhan Zahid, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Petersfield's Mubashar Haroon. 0-1. With a little luck, Crowthorne City's Delawar Najam got control of the ball when Hanif Abbas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Crowthorne City's goalkeeper Delawar Najam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hanif Abbas. Ghalib Aijaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hanif Abbas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Delawar Najam made a huge save. When Crowthorne City's Amjad Anees in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Delawar Najam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Petersfield's Ghalib Aijaz got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Naveed Arslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Subhan Zahid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ghalib Aijaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Delawar Najam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Safdar Shamshad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delawar Najam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ghalib Aijaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hanif Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amjad Anees stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petersfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ghalib Aijaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Petersfield's Ghalib Aijaz in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hanif Abbas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atif Jamal kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Petersfield's Ghalib Aijaz got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ghalib Aijaz came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Petersfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ghalib Aijaz couldn't finish the play. Delawar Najam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghalib Aijaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Naveed Arslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mubashar Haroon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petersfield's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Amjad Anees scored to the left of an out of position Mubashar Haroon, making the score, 1-3. Amjad Anees got in the 85th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mubashar Haroon handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Atif Jamal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ghalib Aijaz in the 91st minute of play forced Crowthorne City's goalkeeper Delawar Najam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes, Moazzam Shan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crowthorne City and the Petersfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Crowthorne City got a freekick which was hit by Moazzam Shan. In the 96th minute of the match Petersfield got a corner. Crowthorne City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zeeshan Dogar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Petersfield's Ghalib Mushtaq to fire away a dangerous shot which Delawar Najam despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Crowthorne City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
