After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Rafiq Shahid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eccles's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafiq Shahid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hanif Rafi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th match minute, Blackheath FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khurram Jamil to maneuver through the defense. Arshad Shan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hanif Rafi having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Blackheath FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafiq Shahid came free, but Hanif Rafi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isa Paracha's late challenge caught a Eccles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isa Paracha helped the player get up and apologised. Isa Paracha hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Eccles got a corner. Blackheath FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Husnain Mazhar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Blackheath FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Eccles:s goal. Shaukat Eehab scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hanif Rafi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Blackheath FC's zone, Rafiq Shahid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hanif Rafi came out of the goal and Rafiq Shahid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Azhar Jaffar hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Husnain Mazhar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hanif Rafi. Blackheath FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Eccles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azghar Aamish to maneuver through the defense. When Eccles's Arshad Shan in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blackheath FC's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ammar Shakeel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hanif Rafi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arshad Shan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eccles's Rafiq Shahid got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Delawar Dogar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blackheath FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delawar Dogar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Razi Wahid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hanif Rafi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arshad Shan in the 66th minute of play. Razi Wahid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ammar Shakeel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When Waqas Musharraf fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blackheath FC's protests and gave Waqas Musharraf a yellow card for diving instead. Waqas Musharraf hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Eccles's Rafiq Shahid got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ammar Shakeel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Razi Wahid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Eccles left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Blackheath FC.
