Great Ayton`'s Shafqat Zahid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Great Ayton` from getting a goal against them. Instead of passing the ball, Sajjad Butt made a really hard long shot towards goal. Stroud United's Taimoor Awais realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. Shafqat Zahid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakim Basharat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62ndth minute of the game Parvaiz Asif who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Great Ayton`'s Shafqat Zahid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Great Ayton`'s Amjad Qureshi got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 68 minutes, Parvaiz Asif managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stroud United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Parvaiz Asif was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Razi Jamil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Taimoor Awais made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Great Ayton` walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
